A three-day public welfare camp will be held at Harsing Lower Secondary School under Lebong Valley 1 Gram Panchayat from June 15 to June 17, 2026, to help residents learn about and access a range of government schemes and services.
The camp is being organized to inform the public about 54 major welfare schemes under the West Bengal government, along with several central and state government services. Residents will be able to receive guidance and apply for benefits related to key social welfare programs during the camp.
Among the schemes and services to be highlighted are old-age pension, ration card services, job card services, Annapurna Bhandar, educational scholarship, Jan Jiban Yojana, and Kanyashree. Organizers said many other government initiatives will also be available for eligible beneficiaries.
Local residents have been urged to bring the necessary documents for themselves and their family members. These include Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Ration Card, Job Card, Bank Passbook, and passport-size photographs.
The camp is expected to benefit people in the area by making government services more accessible at the local level.
